Return policy

This policy sets out your rights when returning products bought from Jara Mama. It does not affect your statutory rights under Irish and EU consumer law.

Cooling-off period

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 you may cancel an order for non-perishable goods within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. To keep things simple we offer a 7-day easy return on top of this for a hassle-free refund or exchange.

Exclusions

The right to cancel does not apply to goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (fresh, chilled and frozen food), or to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed.

Faulty goods

If a product is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery for damaged or spoiled food, and within a reasonable time for anything else.

Refund timing

Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods, and usually within 3–5 working days.
